Here’s your next four minutes of fun–Quattro Minuti con Casanova! I had to pay extra for the seagull. Didn’t he have perfect timing, squawking as he did right at the beginning and end of my talk?
The Church of Santa Maria Formosa has two entrances. You’ll see that I’m at the entrance by the canal, not the one looking into the campo. It’s pretty cool to think that inside this church is a document proving that Casanova was there. There are very few Venetian locations that can claim that. I haven’t actually seen it myself, but this summer I’ll have some extra time in Venice and may try seeing the record books. View the video to get the details!
