Polenta Where??

Isabella Teotochi Albrizzi
Please join me at my next event two weeks from today, a presentation to share the lives of Venetian women with you! It will be in the Sacramento, California, area, sponsored by the Italian Cultural Society. Here is the event description from their recent flyer:
Sunday, 6 March at 2:00 pm
A Beautiful Woman In Venice

Kathleen Gonzalez, author of Free Gondola Ride and Seductive Venice; In Casanova’s Footsteps, returns to the Italian Center with her most recent book, A Beautiful Woman in Venice. Her visual presentation will feature the lives of many women who contributed to Venetian life over the span of six centuries. Learn  their stories and more from the charismatic and entertaining Kathleen. You will have to attend or read the book to discover which woman hid steaming polenta in her bosom, which woman was friends with Lord Byron and which had 37 violin concertos written for her by Antonio Vivaldi! Kathleen’s books will be available for purchase and signing after presentation.

Admission $10 / Refreshments Included
Program Starts at 2:00pm, Doors open at 1:30

At the Italian Center, 6821 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael 95608
