Spotted in the San Polo district a while back. So many delicious details about this door….
I agree. The lovely wrought iron, the oddly placed door knocker, the “eye” with the spiral pupil, the rusty lock (as least that’s my guess), the sunny little spinner (it looks like the meteorological symbol for wind), and the warning sign. One could spend a day just trying to “break the code.”
