The Narrow Streets of Venice

I walk around Venice so much that I often don’t think about how narrow some streets are. But on a walk this June I was struck by how narrow this street really was. Look at how this man’s shoulders nearly touch the walls?

    Was it Calle Stretta, by any chance? I used to be able to find where photos were taken in Venice using the interactive map on veniceconnected.com, but since they dumped that in favour of Google it has been hopeless.
    (‘stretta’ = narrow in Italian)

    • Hmm, I don’t remember which part of town I was in when I took it. There’s a calle in Castello, I think, that’s considered the narrowest street in Venice, and I know I wasn’t there.
