Street Art / Venetian Stylin’ #11

Seen near Rio Marin in Santa Croce on the roll-down barriers–only at night, because when the shop is open, you can’t see the art!

The gondoliers actually work at this corner. I wonder if they appreciate or are sick of seeing this image daily?

Can I post my photos on this site?

    • Me, too. I used to hate all the graffiti in Venice, but there are now some that I actually appreciate. And for this restaurant to hire an artist to paint this on their rolldown covers is a nice way to encourage local art.

love this…creative way to display art on an otherwise bland door!
